NABG Elections
Leadership Positions in the NABG are a great way to give back to the organization while developing yourself personally and professionally!
Term length for all positions is two years and all roles are on a volunteer basis. Executive team members are required to chair or participate in at least one committee (communications, finance, outreach, programming), in addition to being an active member of the conference planning committee.
If you are interested in running for a position, complete the nomination form template and return to communications@nabg-us.org. Nominations will be open on April 15th, 2026.
You must be an active, dues paid member to run for any position.
Leadership Roles:
- President: Sets the vision and strategy for the organization, ultimately accountable for all activities, finances, growth, and sustainability.
- Vice President: Supports the President in their duties and in executing the vision and strategy of the organization.
- Treasurer: Manages all financial activity for the organization and chairs the finance committee.
- Assistant Treasurer
- Secretary: Maintains record of all meetings and organizational activities, and manages all communications with membership.
- Assistant Secretary
- Parliamentarian: Manages elections, procedures, and ensures adherence to the constitution.
- Member-at-large (Student): Liasion between the executive committee and student members. Responsible for programming to engage student members at all levels.
- Member-at-large (Professional): Liasion between the executive committee and student members. Responsible for programming to engage student members at all levels.

Previous experience is not required for any role but is preferred for Treasurer.
