Conference Registration

We are so excited to welcome you to Golden, Colorado for the 44th Annual Technical Conference of the National Association of Black Geoscientists, hosted in conjunction with the Colorado School of Mines!
This year, you can expect to hear from dynamic speakers, attend interactive workshops and panel discussions, and take advantage of the beautiful Rocky Mountains through field trips and site visits.

Most official conference events will be held at the Green Center, on the campus of the Colorado School of Mines.

Limited funding for student attendance is available! register asap to secure your spot.
Registration fees will be waived for student attendees and lodging will be covered on a first come, first served basis. Priority funding will be given to student presenters and volunteers. Students are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to Golden. We have prepared a letter that you may use to petition your departments for funding.
Early-Bird Registration: May 19th – June 6th
Normal Registration: June 7th – August 10th.
Late Registration: August 11th – September 2nd.
Conference Registration will CLOSE on September 2nd and there will be NO on-site registration.

Note: exhibitor registration includes two (2) conference attendees in addition to the exhibition booth. You will be able to list attendees on the exhibitor form. Additional representatives from your organization must complete their own registration form.

Room Block
The host hotel for #NABG44 is the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Golden – Denver Area, located 3 miles from the conference center. The hotel offers complimentary WIFI, breakfast, and use of the on-site gym and pool.
Single King rooms are available for $159/night + tax. Rooms must be booked by August 3rd.
Please Note
- Rideshare options are available in Golden, in addition to public transportation. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from campus.
- Parking is complimentary
Students
You will receive an email after registering with details on securing your room. NABG will cover double-occupancy rooms, with priority for students presenting at the conference or volunteering.
